TOSHIO ASANO PRESIDENT	We started our business with fiber material in 1958, but we changed our business to coloring, processing and selling of plastic material in 1973 and have been engaged in this business up to now. Since foundation we have been attacked by ‘Oil Shock’, radical Yen Revaluation, neighboring Asian countries’ coming up from behind, trade friction with foreign countries including the United States. Furthermore, after ‘Collapse of the Bubble’ globalization of the economy has been accelerated, and the price competition has been keener and keener. We are afraid that such change and risk may occur repeatedly not only in domestic market but also in foreign market hereafter as well. But we are confident that we will overcome any difficulties to come for attaining our purpose. Industries of the world are accelerating speed of development year by year, and their expectation to plastic industry will increase more and more. In order to comply with such requirement the material with excellent property is being developed one after another, for the products of high quality is being required strongly in all the fields. However, taking out industrial waste and occurrence of dioxin thereof have caused breaking of natural environment. We must try to stop them as an urgent matter. Since long we are engaged in the plastic recycle business and, as we will continue to go under the motto of ‘take good care of resources of the earth’, we very much look forward to your unchanged cooperation and assistance.
